Why Hire a Music Producer
If you are a solo songwriter freshly starting out in the world of music you may be utterly confused about how to go about recording your songs either with other musicians or with your band if you have one. These days it’s really easy to start producing music by using Daw’s and Virtual Studio Technology Instruments (VSTI’s). You can plug in a mic or a guitar and start recording in your home studio and within a day or two you have something called a ‘song’ produced. It is definitely a high to have created your first song or your tenth song on your computer. But soon enough you realise that your ‘home music productions’ are just not cutting it when compared to the professional quality songs you hear on streaming sites or YouTube. The simple reason is that the hit songs that you love and the ones that you listen to again and again are made by ‘Music producers’ who have many years of experience of working on hundreds and even thousands of songs. It has taken them years and tens of thousands of hours of practice at their craft to be able to churn out songs that sound amazing! If you want to be taken seriously by the world as a musician or an artist you need a music producer.

FAQ
How much will it cost to produce my song?
The cost will vary depending on the genre of Music - For genres that can be programmed / arrangement using the tools in the box then the charges will be less. If we need live interments like guitar, Flute , percussion etc then the charges will be higher. As a rough idea a basic cost for Music programming and arrangement can start from 25000 and go up to 50000 depending on things which are required. Do note that these are not standard rates and the rates may go up and down depending on your requirements. Feel free to contact us to discuss your exact requirement and we shall be happy to send you a quote.
What if I want to keep my tune confidential?
We understand and respect your need for confidentiality. To ensure this we sign a Confidentiality agreement right at the very beginning before you send us your melody so that we can start off on the right note!
How much time will it take to produce my track?
That depends on how fast you want it done. If your initial scratch tune is ready then we send you a rough treatment of the song for approval. Post approval, you will have to pay us 75 % of the total production cost for the track in advance. After that, your song programming and arrangement should be ready in about a week or two at the most. So overall you can consider a two week turnaround period for your song at the most.
What if I want you guys to mix my song?
Good question. After the song is arranged and approved by you we will bounce all the tracks and send it to you. You can take these tracks to a mix engineer who will then mix it for you. On the other hand we will be more than happy to mix your song for you since the tracks are already residing on our system. Our Mixing charges are a flat ₹ 15000 per song. We will give you (3 changes / corrections) free of charge included in the price. This will give you complete peace of mind that you get the best mix and all your feedback will be considered by our mix engineers.
What if I want you guys to master my track?
Good question again! As mentioned earlier, you are free to mix and master your song elsewhere after we give you bounced arrangement tracks. On the other hand if you would like us to master your song we would be more than pleased to do the same. Do remember that the mastering process comes after the mixing phase. We charge ₹ 10,000/- per song for mastering . If we have done the mixing then mastering is free of charge. When we render a song to you we will mix and master it to highest quality standards.
What are the payment terms?
We take a 75 % advance payment before we start arrangement of the track and the balance has to be paid once the arrangement is complete and approved by you. Our Song Mixing charges are ₹ 15,000/- per song and our mastering charges are ₹ 10,000/- per song. For mixing and mastering we require full 100 % advance before we start the work. We can give you a maximum of three alternate mixes and masters until you are happy with what you hear!
Do I need to be physically present during song arrangement or mixing?
Not at all! In fact we work with artists from all over the world. We have an FTP server through we can exchange audio files for easy and fast communication. If you are a singer then all you need to do is send us the rough tune and we will arrange the track from our studio and send you the bounced files which you can take to any studio and record your vocals to go along with it. If you want us to mix and master your tracks simply mail us the bounced tracks and we will render our services and mail you the tracks for approval.
